Saturday 6th October 2012

Next morning we all met at Huks for breakfast ....

Great selection of bacon, hash browns, scrambled and fried eggs, sausages, toast, cereal, Danish pastries and all the tea and coffee and juice you could wish for ...

The day was our own to do with as we pleased ... some went swimming, some for beauty treatments, some for bike rides and some just for a walk.

We had a good look round the village and discovered some of the shopping.

Then we went to the Debonaires' cabin for a sit down and a chat. As soon as we were there, the Canada geese came to visit ...

We wondered what he hurry was until we saw ...

... the clever creatures had already learned that Denise would give them cake crumbs. They were so tame, they took it from her hand.

In the afternoon all Red Hatters were invited to the Batty Bees' cabin for afternoon tea ...

They had a veritable feast spread out in their cabin ...

... the room was filled with food and Red Hat Sisters ...

So we all spilled out ...

... and met around the BBQ (which thankfully was not lit)

Me (Margret) and Denise in animated chat ...

We - the Debonaires - went back to the cabin and had a chat and a rest, before getting ready for the big event ... the Masked Ball

Me (Margret) CEO of the Debonaires and Duty-Photographer ... which is the reason I am not often in the pictures ... only when Eileen takes one (like here) or when someone takes my camera off me LoL

Margie, Sieglinde and Wanda on their way to the ball

We even had an Ozzy Star attending

Lots and lots of fantastic dresses and masks ... everyone waiting to be allowed into the hall for the ball ...

Ninelle, Eileen and Denise are waiting too ...

Wow ... more "Bees made" table decorations and even wine on the table ...

Ninelle with her amazing mask

Denise is glitteringly beautiful

My mask was getting too hot and it got difficult to not wear my glasses ...

We all had a lovely present that night ... and again the marvelous Batty Bees have been busy making something wonderful

Each one of us got a had sewn little bag, all in different colours and all with a tag that says: Especially made for you, with love by a Batty Bee. There is mine on the right ... and if you look on the picture above, you can just see Ninelle's in different colours ... What a lovely idea! Thank You Bees ...

The dinner was - again - delicious and we enjoyed our food ... !!

One of the best things at this convention was meeting so many other people from different countries even. Here you see Denise and Eileen with Queen Carina Camelia of the Swedish Chapter "Rhapsody in Red"

The band - the second live band for this weekend - was again well able to get the mood for dancing started

Eileen having a good time

Denise moved ... sorry about the blurrrr
