NoN-Lighthouses

We thought - for a bit of fun - we would show you our favourite non-lighthouses. These are all pretend lights, which are not and never have been active lighthouses, but are made to look the part!

◄  This tower stands in Port Aransas in Texas, USA. The picture was taken from the moving car.

◄▲This lighthouse we found at the Seaport Village

 in San Diego in Califonia, USA  

 And this is a picture from Margret's mother. ►

It was taken on "Neeltje-Jans", the working island of the Delta-Works in the Netherlands.

◄  This lighthouse stands in a little pool for model boats on the Grand Pier in our home town - Weston super Mare. It actually flashes white  - with a strobe light.
